in 1995 me and my friends started to love these 5 amazing singers from USA.... and now 12 years later.... 6 concerts down.... met'em 2.... been onstage once.... used all my money on BSB stuff (in the earlier days, tooo old for that now...).... they are still amazing.
My best memories in life is with these guys.... Me and my bestfriend, Bertina went onstage with them the 31th july 1999.... this was the time of our life.... I still think often about it. My friend stood with Brian and I stood with AJ. It was unbeliveable... we were 17 years old and life was perfect.... We were the happiest girls ever.... She always used to write me these little notes where she had written "I love Brian... Keep the backstreet pride alive", and that is what i am going to do.... i will keep the pride alive, for me and for her.... The 28 january 2001 i got the terrible news that my best friend was shot and killed by her boyfriend. In her funeral the priest talked about her love for BSB and how proud she were when she was onstage, it was the happiest day of her life.... I was very proud that I was blessed to share this day with her.... This is why I will keep the backtreet pride alive.... It helps me to remember my best friend Bertina and i know she would have remembered me the same way.....
