To appease our culture's tireless addiction to nostalgia, VH1 will spend next week counting down the 100 best songs of the 1990's. Starting Monday, the former music channel will return to its roots, and air hour long countdown segments each night of the week. The list was generated from a user poll on VH1's website, which tabulated over 600,000 votes.

Here's what I find ironic (Alanis Morissette pun, w00t!): Flavor of Love is one of the most successful shows in VH1 history. However, Public Enemy only made it to #92 on the list. Oh VH1 audience, you are so fickle...
