I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

The Backstreet Boys have an inspirational sound... I became a fan when I was in 3rd grade which is about 10 years ago (1998). I got a Millenium tape for my birthday and I immediatly fell in love with BSB's amazing voices. I loved listening to Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely because I got a chance to hear everyones voice individualy. I didn't understand what the lyrics ment when I was 8 years old, but it was more than that. I finally got a chance to hear different ranges in voices that I had never heard and I absolutly adored the instrumental background. There was something about Kevin's solo in Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely that made me tingle. Sounds strange, I know, but I liked the low and rich tone that he has in his voice....

Becoming a fan at such a young age has turned out to be an advantage to me. It helped me form my musical tastes and showed me what I love and want to do with my life. (I plan to be a music teacher.) I also got the fortunate chance to grow up with BSB's music. Anotherwords, as I matured, so did the guys' music. Growing up with BSB and their music has taught me some valuable life lessons. No matter how hard things are and no matter how bad times may seem, you can always create something wonderful. Even if it means taking a time-out to better your mental and physical health. I have learned a lot of life lessons from the Backstreet Boys and their music that it's hard for me to sum all of them up. I guess they really influenced my life and showed me a lot of valuable life lessons that I can take with me through the years. I'm glad that BSB has done that for me, even if they don't realize it.

What better way to say why your a fan than to tell how you became a fan and what meaningful things they have done for you? I am 18-years-old, in high school,and I STILL have Backstreet Boy posters on my bedroom wall! I am NOT affraid to admit that either! I can only appreciate the guys and what they have done for me and millions of others. They are truly an inspiration and deserve all the respect that they can get!

So, to the Backstreet Boys and former Backstreet Boy, Thank you! I wish you the best in life and I hope your careers continue to be successful! I really can't thank you enough!
