I've been reading through some of these comments and most, not all, have no idea what is really going on. I am PROUDLY serving my country in the USAF and appreciate anyone who publicy supports the troops. I have been to war this past year and it is no picnic. When you are out there in the s***, seeing things that no one should ever see and defending freedom (which includes your right to free speech on this website) it is comforting to know that people, even celebs, are thinking of you. There is no draft so no one is picked to join. We are a volunteer service and we raise our right hand and take an oath to obey the officers appointed above us and defend the constitution. Not everyone in the service agrees with the war.....but is is our DUTY to do the best job we can.
I want to thank those who appreciate what the BSB are doing and encourage others to think about what they say before they type. It's hard enough to deploy and have kids give you the middle finger and think that today might be your last day to live. The last thing we need is to hear the people we love and defend don't care about us or support us. We, and I, love America and believe me, it is the best place to live so lets not piss on the ones who keep it that way. T Jackson USAF
