I would like to start off by saying that I am a huuuge Westlife fan. I was also a fan of the Backstreet Boys too, but not as much as the Irish lads. That all changed when I bought both their new albums (Westlife's was released a week after BSBs), and I have to say 'Unbreakable' kicks 'Back Home's ass!! I am now a fully obsessed Backstreet fan. Whereas Westlife sticks to 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' routine which is getting boring, BSB strives to better themselves and take the time out to make the best cd possible. It's definitly quality rather than quantity with the boys. They're vocals are sooooooo amazing on the new cd, 'Unmistakable' and 'Helpless When She Smiles' give me goosebumps. 'Treat Me Right' and 'Panic' never fail to get me of my feet and dance around my room! And not only are they terrific singers, they are extremely talented songwriters too. I love their lyrics to 'panic' especially. If they release another album, they should trust in their songwriting ability more. IThe only problem I have is that the album seems to be over produced and their vocals tends to be lost behind the music which is a shame but they are the best vocal harmony group since Boyz 2 Men. I would also love to hear them use the falsetto more on solo parts too cos thats the money maker people!! I also think that 'Helpless When She Smiles' is a good idea as a second single, but, like other bsb fans, i've been listening to it for months now since it was leaked onto the net so that might affect how well it does in the charts.
