This album is great I gave my review already. I love it, but if the label really wants them to make an impact like before they need to listen to their fans when it comes to singles. Inconsolable is a pretty song but it's not that different from Incomplete. I really want them to succeed so they need to release music that will get peoples attention other than thier fans. I've liked them since I was 11 and I'm 20. Most of us are really loyal and have like them for years not just cause their cute but because of there personalities.
BUT the rest of the world isn't like that. They need to make "Treat Me Right" or "One In A Million" as there next single.

I must say that I've been a fan of the Backstreet Boys since they started out, but ever since their release Millennium, they seem to have somewhat been looking for some clear direction on where to go as respected artists from their heyday beginnings as a 'boyband'. I think with the release of Unbreakable they have, for the most part, found their footing. I think from this album onwards they will gain new fans besides maintaining those who have been with them through the years. Fans young and old will appreciate their music, and watching their solid performance on 'Ellen', they have indeed established themselves as a more (Adult) Contemporary Band, not only appealing to the screaming adolescents whom once (and still do) form much of their fan base. Seeing that 'slightly older' lady very much getting into the Boys' music touched me and Brian's quip that they're music is for everyone hit the nail on its head. The Boys sing pop, and that reaches across demographics. As I have said, the album Unbreakable charts better ground than their last effort, Never Gone. The selection of songs on Unbreakable is very well rounded, which shall appeal to many. From the pure pop sound of 'Inconsolable' to the more R&B tinged 'Helpless When She Smiles', the Country & Western flavored 'Trouble Is", the synthesizer driven tunes like 'Everything But Mine' (much akin to their earlier dance themed tracks prior to the Millennium release), the rock influenced "Something I Already Know" and even the Timbaland-ish "Treat Me Right", will make many music lovers very happy. In short, there is something for everyone, without losing that Backstreet essence. The challenge now would be choosing the tracks to release as singles. If I my observation of the US Billboard charts reflect correctly, the aforementioned chart does not really entertain saccharine sweet music too favorably. There has to be some edge to it, some attitude. Then the particular song would probably chart well, then by extension would translate to better sales of the album in the US. Markets in Europe and much of Asia are less complicated, and would still see strong sales of the Backstreet Boys' albums by virtue of the strong pop songs contained in the album (sales would be stronger with each promotional stop by the Boys). So I think as they are, they should position themselves as a more Adult Contemporary band to capture the imagination of the US market, much like in the vein of Bob Carlisle or Josh Groban (but of course with that youthful Backstreet twist). Well I hope this commentary is helpful and I hope to hear more outstanding songs from future releases of the Backstreet Boys. Well done on Unbreakable!
Anyways, any chance of doing more shows in the Far East; Kuala Lumpur perhaps?
In my opinion, Helpless when she smiles is a great song... but I'M A FAN... and I love almost all BSB's songs, something that other people don't. And for that other people this kind of song is so much boring. In my country, Argentina, radio stations don't play their songs. I only heard Inconsolable once...
I think this is really sad, they used to be a great band here and everywhere, but something changed in the last years and only we, the TRUE FANS, can see that they're still the greatest band ever.
So, to the label, PLEASE, CHANGE THE WAY YOU'RE DOING THINGS... In my country nobody but fans know that Backstreet Boys still exist.

First of all i want to tell you that my level of english is not high ( i'm spanish) so, sorry for my grammatical mistakes or vocabulary ones. I try to do it well !
I'm a fan of BSB since i was a child, as plenty of you, i grown up with them. I consider them as my friends, because some feelings have been created in my heart. The most incredible thing is that they have been created without a " face to face" with them!!! Just in concerts!!!! ( a little far jjeje).
However, being a fan of them doesn't mean that all that they do has to be right for me, as for example some actitudes or cd's. I didn't like the cd : NEVER GONE. I mean with that, i just like some songs of it. On the contrary, MILLENNIUM is perfect, or BLACK AND BLUE, or BACKSTREET BACK ( i love all the songs of these cd's). I don't know why, but Nerver gone was not the cd that i hoped. Nevertheless, with UNBREAKABLE, our boys have achieved what i missed.

I got the new album last week and I HAVE NOT STOP LISTENING to it ever since even when I am asleep!!! I am listening to it right now as I am typing this comment! I LOVE IT!!!! I love all the songs. It has a cool beat that it makes me want to dance and sing along, which I do. This album proves 100% that the Backstreet Boys are Unbreakable, they make great music and sing great together! Nick Carter, I’m a Portuguese lover, and I read that you are Dolphin ambassador and you love also Japanese culture.
I don’t now if you now this but, countries like China and Japan have the costume of killing outstanding animals as Dolphin, Wheels, sharks and so on. This subject is something that is current in the news, at list in Portugal. Last week I saw destructive, horrible …, images of FAMILEIS of Dolphins being killed in Japan waters (not a few innocents animals but hundreds of them), and this was a really horrible and painful depth. Not only they kill hundreds Dolphins, but they almost kill several surfers that tried stop then. The most important the police know what’s going and doesn’t do anything about it. This seems to be a cycle that happens every single year, were they murder hundreds of Dolphins, not several, because this they to all year whit the authorities permission.
You most think that I’m a really boring and annoying person for writing you all this long comment and you not going even know that is there.
Sorry to all the backstreet boys fans for using your space to let a personal comment to Nick Carter, but that was the only way I new how. I hope at list apple to yours heart and soul for this tragedy.
What I want whit this?
1º) that you Nick Carter as Special Ambassador for the Year of the Dolphin stop saying how cool Japanese culture and food is (they eat parts of this animals), and give a face to this special animals. Give me permission to let you an advice, go to a Chinese or Japanese food market or even in streets and see it with you eyes.
2º) do more of what you are suppose to do as Ambassador for the Year of the Dolphin (speak about it). Concerts, interviews and comments in you my space and site are a really good way to spread this horrible event that have place in this countries.
To finish, one more time I want to ask to make this comment get to Nick carter. A person like him and in his positions can’t be quiet.

I've listened to the entire album four times from start to finish since it came out. Guys I'm so proud of what you all accomplished on this cd. At first I was like yeah what a great cd, but the more I listen to it the more I love it. And Helpless When She Smiles is a great song (I was a little unsure at first), but it has the same old harmonies I remember from the Backstreet Boys. Brian was right when he said this album is the Backstreet Boys 10 years ago. Great sound and new take on the classic Backstreet. I love it! Thanks so much for continuing to make amazing music for us.

I think "Everything But Mine" would be really but REALLY good song to get new fans for the Backstreet Boys. It's a new sound for them and a really trendy beat. The fans that are really fans will like ALL or almost ALL the songs of the album... but what I think is the next single should target people that are not yet fans and general public and I think "Everything But Mine" could catch there ears. My boyfriend agrees with that too. Maybe people should make non-fans listen to the album and see which songs they would like best.. and prob this song would come out... BUT HEY! THAT IS MY OPINION.... and yes I like the new album and most of the songs.. some of them I need to get used to. And I've been a fan since 1995 when they 1st came out in Canada and proud to be a fan!

1º) that you Nick Carter as Special Ambassador for the Year of the Dolphin stop saying how cool Japanese culture and food is (they eat parts of this animals), and give a face to this special animals. Give me permission to let you an advice, go to a Chinese or Japanese food market or even in streets and see it with you eyes.
2º) do more of what you are suppose to do as Ambassador for the Year of the Dolphin (speak about it). Concerts, interviews and comments in you my space and site are a really good way to spread this horrible event that have place in this countries.
To finish, one more time I want to ask to make this comment get to Nick carter. A person like him and in his positions can’t be quiet.
P.S: I now that not all people are the same and I also like a lot of things about these cultures, but I can’t bee salient when a friend show me what you, Nick Carter, wrote in the backstreet boys site: “I’m turning Japanese.”

Can't Say Enough
I've listened to the entire album four times from start to finish since it came out. Guys I'm so proud of what you all accomplished on this cd. At first I was like yeah what a great cd, but the more I listen to it the more I love it. And Helpless When She Smiles is a great song (I was a little unsure at first), but it has the same old harmonies I remember from the Backstreet Boys. Brian was right when he said this album is the Backstreet Boys 10 years ago. Great sound and new take on the classic Backstreet. I love it! Thanks so much for continuing to make amazing music for us.

I think "Everything But Mine" would be really but REALLY good song to get new fans for the Backstreet Boys. It's a new sound for them and a really trendy beat. The fans that are really fans will like ALL or almost ALL the songs of the album... but what I think is the next single should target people that are not yet fans and general public and I think "Everything But Mine" could catch there ears. My boyfriend agrees with that too. Maybe people should make non-fans listen to the album and see which songs they would like best.. and prob this song would come out... BUT HEY! THAT IS MY OPINION.... and yes I like the new album and most of the songs.. some of them I need to get used to. And I've been a fan since 1995 when they 1st came out in Canada and proud to be a fan!
