the more happy, up-tempo 'older brother' of "Incomplete". An improvement, but also a dissapointment as far as first singles go.

Releasing mid-tempos as first singles is definitely a trend with Backstreet. "I Want It That Way", "Shape Of My Heart", "Incomplete".

I was hoping for an up-tempo as a first single, but the chorus of Inconsolable is catchy. My favorite part of the song is "I wish that I could find the words to say". Going up the octave in that part gives the chorus a little push and makes it better. The melodic line is also interesting to listen to, as are the chord progressions.

This is a very good song. Very Backstreet. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album. They all sound great, and their voices still blend very nice even though Kevin is not there. Long story short, this is my new Favorite Song. Keep up the good work guys and I can't wait for the music video and the new album.

I really can't wait for the album to drop! I'll be gettng it right away!

I didn't like the song at all when I first heard those leaked clips. Now that I've heard a high quality version, it's growing on me. How others said, it sure is an improvement from everything that's in "Never Gone". The chorus is kinda cathy, and this is an overall good song. But I'm still hoping for a great up-tempo to be released as the second single, and hopefully, before the album comes out.

I think this song is great and I hope it will reach #1 in all the charts all over the world!

I'm completely, incandescently, and deliriously happy with this new single! I can't wait for the rest of the album especially if it's reminiscent of "Inconsolable." You can't go wrong with lyrics like: "I memorize the numbers so why can't I make the call?" Alex absolutely rocks that line! I wake up with it stuck in my head; Nick was right--it does take over your mind!

inconsolable is awesome...i luv everything about it...ur voices r incredible...and i am so thrilled to hearthe whole "unbreakable" cd..i know it's gonna be awesome...u said it's a bit like B&B and millenium...so it's like heaven to me....u rock guys....and AJ u r unbelievable..

It is one of the best song by bsb, i loved it til the core, though i had to wait a lot for it...but my patience gave me the fruit i deserved.
i believe this one wil top the charts. the vocals and the music is like a total new look.
i have always loved them n this gives me yet one more reason to carry on..
