A Miracle for Elysia
My name is Michelle and I have a six year old daughter whose favorite band is the Backstreet Boys. She has loved them since she was about four. My daughter can sing every lyric and dance to every beat. The Backstreet Boys are coming to Victoria B.C Canada Sept 5 2008 a day after her birthday. And as you can guess it is her dream to go. So I went online to see how much tickets are. Well $700 for floor seats and $450 for the crap seats way way way at the back. Being a single Mum there is no way I can afford the tickets. None the less I am selling and saving to give it my best try. Now here is the thing, when she was little I made a promise to take her to see them if they ever came here (not having a clue to how much I would have to pay). Now I do not make promises I usaully can't keep. Soo here I am, if anyone knows of anyway to find tickets or have a idea of what I can do please connact me. I am willing to work, or pay what ever I can towards tickets. My daughter is a amazing girl who has been through to much at her age and she deserves a miracle. Ok so here is the lasted. I recently found out the reason the tickets where so high was because the venue holding the concert where selling the tickets before the actual release date. I am still not sure how much tickets are and am saving all that I can. I believe the tickets are on sale this friday. Although because of our situation things have not changed much. So I am still asking for people to conntact me with any ideas or other ways so I can bring her to see them. As I said before I am willing to work my butt off. I have all ready gotten so many wonderful letters of support and I can't begin to tell you all how much it means to my daughter and me. Thank-you again and take care.

Hey all thanx so much for all the support. The Boys are coming to Save-on-Foods Memorial and on there site is where I saw the tickets for sale. I have found out that they are early in selling them and thats why the prices are so high. So I am keeping track on the prices. I am still not given up. I may still have a hard time buying them even if they are a $100 because of our situation. But as I said I am going to save up and give it my best! You guys are great take care!!!!
Hello Michelle, on which website did you see these tickets for sale? As long as there are no official tickets for sale trough the website www.backstreetboys.com, it means that they aren't really on sale yet. Don't buy them on one of those black market website they are just thiefs. Normally a ticket even in the best catogory should not cost you more then 100$. The boys would never ask their fans such abnormal high prices, in Europe all tickets were under 100€ I think they even didn't cost more then 80€. I went to Brussels and Rotterdam and paid 42 and 38 euro.

I looked up the canadian ticketmaster and there are no tickets up for your area yet but here is the link and maybe they will be up soon. tickets in toronto are between 27.50 and 75 dollars. hope this helps

Oh my god how come the tickets cost so much?? Here in Europe I paid 40 to 60 euros. weird. But it's great you're doing that for your daughter.
