A Chance Meeting (An AJ short story)
This is my first ever fan-fic so it might not be that good!!!
It's about AJ and one of my other favorite singer's, Lacey Mosley, I know AJ has a girlfriend and I think Lacey has a boyfriend so this is 100% made-up, I have never met any one from BSB or Flyleaf.
Now that's out of the way.....
A Chance Meeting
"I am so sore." AJ McLean moaned.
He had just finished his 2 and a half hour show with his bandmates Brian, Nick, and Howie, better know as the Backstreet Boys, plus he still had meet and greet to do.
He put on his best smile as he shook hands and posed for pictures.
"Hi, I'm a huge fan, obviously." Said a teenage girl as they shook hands. "My names Stacie."
"Well, Stacie I hope you enjoyed the show."
"I did." She said. "Okay, I know this is a little weird but I have to tell you."
"Ok, shoot."
"There's this girl, she's a singer, her names Lacey Mosley and you should look her up on the web. She's from a band called Flyleaf." She said as she handed me a picture of me and a girl, I'm guessing is Lacey Mosley, combinded together.
"My cousin made it."
"Wow, people usualy ask me to marry them, not another girl."
"Well, you guys have alot in common, even if you don't know it."
"Ok, I'll take your word for it."
Well, bye it was nice meeting you."
"Bye."
He waited until they were on the way back home to show the other guys the picture.
"Hey Rok, check out this out." AJ said handing Brian the picture.
"Who is it?"
"Some chick another chick wants me to check out, her names Lacey Mosley."
"You have such a way with words, did you say Lacey Mosley, is she from a group called Flyleaf?"
"Yeah, why have you heard of her?"
"Yeah, Leighanne's younger cousin loves that group and she tricked us into taking her to their concert."
"How did she trick you."
"Well, it's a Christian group, but she left out the part about it being a Christian Metal group."
"She's cute, that's for sure."
AJ was exhausted but he still couldn't fall asleep, so he decided to look that girl up on the web.
He found out that they did both have alot in common, they battled the same demons.
He also listened to some of their music, his favorite so far was I'm So Sick, the emotion and realness in the lyrics was unbelivable.
He was intrigued but he was also tired beyond beleif.

Ok, here it is.................................
The next morning AJ, Brian, Leighanne and Baylee all went out for breakfast.
"Oh, Brian I forgot to tell you I checked out that Lacey chick last night."
"AJ, Baylee." Leighanne said pointing to her son.
"On the web, Leighanne, anyway her bands having a concert In town tonight, anyone want to come?"
"Once was enough for me." Brian said.
"Who's her band?" Leighanne asked.
"Flyleaf."
"Oh, yeah I remember them."
Well, I'm not going by myself."
Brian and Leighanne looked at each other.
"OK."
"Thanks, I gotta go, bye."
"Wait, where are you going?" Brian asked.
"What, you think I'm going to meet her wearing something I already own?"
"You're as bad as a woman, AJ."
AJ couldn't understand why he was so nervous about meeting her, he had met tons of girls, why was this one so diferent?
Brian and Legihanne stopped by his house to pick him up at 6:00pm, Nick had decided to come along with them to the concert.....................

yea, i missed something, but i read all that was on this page. did you post some in a different forum topic?
first i read the very first thing you wrote, then i read the part where AJ goes to the concert to find Lacey, then the last thing i read was the part where Lacey was like, "how much longer should i wait Sameer?" but i didnt read anything about a phonecall, but i guess there was a phonecall before the last chapter.
oh and i have a question... what does this mean?

"How much longer should I wait, Sameer?" Lacey asked her bandmate.
"Umm...Well it's noon now, so you can try and call him." Sameer answered.
"Ok." She grabbed her phone and walked out into the hall.
RING....RING....
"Hello?"
"AJ?"
"Yeah, is this Lacey?"
"Yeah."
"Oh cool, what's up?"
"Oh, nothing, I was just uh...bored...so, um, I thought I'd call." Why do I have to sound so nervous? She thought to herself.
"Well, are you free?"
"What?"
"I was just wondering if you might want to get lunch or somethin'?"
"Yeah, I don't think we're doing any thing today."
"Do you care if my friend and his wife come along, you met them last night."
"No that's cool." She was glad he said that, it wouldn't be as awkward.
"Ok, we'll pick you up in about a half an hour."
"Ok, bye"
"Bye."
She went to look through her suitcae (They were in a hotel by the way) and decided on a white shirt with a black skull and rose design on it, faded jeans, black converse and her favorite cross necklace. Her hair was already curly from last night.

Once they got there AJ and Nick went to look for someone who might be able to get them backstage, while the other 2 wnet to make sure they were close to the stage. (General Seating)
They finally found a bodygaurd and after explaing who they were, he said they could come back after the show.
Once the band came out and really got into the music, AJ discovered Lacey was even more beautiful in person.
After the show was over they got backstage and found the dressing room.
After they were all interduced Lacey said "What an honor it was for them to come to their show."
"You guys are incredible live." AJ said to the group although the only one he was looking at was Lacey, there was something about her she was different from the other girls he had dated, he could tell by her lyrics she was more then just a pretty face. A very pretty face.
"So are you, I didn't get to see the show yesterday but I've saw you before and you're wonderful."Said Lacey, she to was talking to the group (Well except Howie), but was only looking at AJ. This guys to sweet to be the "Bad Boy" of the group, sure he had more tattoo's then you could count and has on the same nailpolish and eyeliner as me, but he's different then most guys who try to act all tough to impress a girl.
After a while the guys and Leighanne, the guys including Nick, Brian, Jared, James, Pat and Sameer, decided they should get going, but AJ and Lacey could have talked all night.
"Call me." AJ said handing Lacey his phone number.
"Ok, we should get together if you're still going to be in town for awhile."
"Well, right now I live here."
"Me to."
"You coming AJ?" Nick asked.
"Yeah, one minute." He said to Nick. "I gotta go, bye."
"Bye." lacey said.
"Great show guys." He said to the other members. "See ya soon." He said to Lacey as he kissed her on the cheek.
After he closed the door Lacey sat down and closed her eyes.
Who knew by the end of the night I'd be in love with a Backstreet Boy? She thought.

AJ never said a word until Leighanne asked him if he had a good time
"Yeah, she was great."
"Are you talking about when you met her or the concert it's self?"
"Both."
"Did you get her number?" Nick asked.
"No, but I gave her mine."
"She probably won't call you."
"Nick!" Leighanne exclaimed.
"What, chicks never call first."
"Thanks for the moral support, buddy." AJ said sarcastically.
"Just sayin"
"I'll see you guys tommorow." He said as they pullled up to his house. "Thanks for the ride Rok."
"No problem, see ya."
It was only 12:00pm when they got home, so AJ decided to watch tv.
But after what seemed like the millionth channel he decided to go to bed.
He tossed and turned all night, so the next morning he woke even more tired then when he went to bed.
Around noon his phone rung, he didn't reconize the the number but he had a feeling who it was..................
